When governments make unjust decisions that infringe on our civil liberties and human rights, the BCCLA is quick to take action. Many times, we take action in the form of an intervention.
An intervention is when an interested person or a group who is not a plaintiff or defendant in a case joins in the litigation. We intervene in cases, often at the Supreme Court of Canada, because we bring arguments to the table that otherwise won’t be considered.
We’re a small organization, but like you, we want to have a big impact in the fight for justice.
